Nun - um was geht es in dem Buch?
Mit Beginn der Pandemie und dem Gefühl, die Welt nicht mehr so frei bereisen zu können wie bisher, wuchs der Wunsch in mir, Menschen an Orte zu bringen, ohne dass sie sich physisch auf Reisen begeben müssen. Allerdings schienen mir Fotos allein nicht ausreichend. Wer mich kennt weiß, dass die Musik als weiteres Medium sehr naheliegend war.
Das Buch beinhaltet acht Serien mit jeweils acht analogen Fotografien. Jede Serie wird von einem Musikstück begleitet, das mit Hilfe von Umgebungsaufnahmen und einer speziellen Technik direkt mit dem Ort, an dem die Fotos entstanden sind, verknüpft sind.

Jede der Serien ist das Portrait eines Ortes, das durch die Musik um eine Dimension erweitert wird. Der Heimatort in der Schweiz und das Familienhaus in Koblenz; ein verlassenes Hotel, in dem die Parteispendenaffäre der CDU losgetreten wurde; bis hin zu wundersamen Orten in der Natur; farbig und schwarz-weiß.
Die Musik ist auf Spotify zu hören und für Besitzer:innen des Buches auch per QR Code bei Youtube zu erreichen. Das Buch ist auf 100 Stück limitiert. Die Fotos sind auf 170g/m2 schwerem Fotopapier gedruckt. Der Einband besteht aus hochwertigem bedrucktem Leinenstoff, der dem Buch eine besondere Haptik verleiht.

Well - what’s the book about?
With the pandemic starting, the feeling of not being able to travel anymore, started to grow inside me and with that came my whish of bringing people to places, without them moving in a physical way. But photos only was not enough for me. Who knows me also knows, that music as another medium, is pretty obvious.
The book shows eight photo series which contain eight photos each. Every series is accompanied by a piece of music, which is connected directly to the location of the photos and was made with a special technique. (more on that inside the preface of the book)
Every series is a portrait of a location, which is expanded by a dimension through the music. My hometown in Switzerland and the house of my family in Koblenz; a abandoned hotel, where the CDU donations scandal might have been started; or other wondrous places in nature; in color and black and white.
The music can be found on Spotify and Bandcamp and for owners of the book there is also a link to YouTube.
The book is limited to 100 pieces.
The photos are printed on 170g/m2 paper. The cover is made of high quality linen, which gives the book an amazing feel.
